Good day TRIBE

It is with immense gratitude and a heartfelt thanks that i make this post.
Firstly a big thank you to Coach Barry' Frayman Baatjies and the rest of the HAWSTON FC JUNIOR COMITTEE for their hard work and unwavering dedication to our young Stallions.

Then to Mr Phillipus May and Hermanus Whale Cruises for their generosity and for investing in our vision. The new equipment and match kit will ensure that our youngsters look the part.

The kit once again inspired by our rich sporting history paying homage to Hawston RFC (SVN) and the great Perseverance RFC and one more in the works.

If there is youngsters at home girls or boys that wish to join the club just make yoir way to the field and join the Hawston FC family.

Good day Tribe

After a difficult round of fixtures over the weekend the results did not go our way.

Our U 11s lost 4-1 and U13s drew 1-1 against generatiins school hermanus. Our Senior CFF team lost 5-1 against fellow newcomers Jende Cosmos and the Senior SAFA team lost 3-1 against Ithemba Sporting.

This week we will be back to practice and improve on what we have learnt will be put into practice on the field despite all the challenges faced by the club.

This weekend the Safa senior team faces Overstrand United with a few scores to settle. The CFF will face their toughest opposition yet in the form of ZAMA ZAMA FC .

We hope to see you all atvthe matches on Sunday.

Good day Tribe

Due to the amazing turn up at practice we were prompted to register a second football team. The team will be competing in the newly established CFF COMMUNITY FOOTBALL FEDERATION.

This decision was made to accomodate players that would otherwise not get regular gametime. This allows us as a club to accomodate more players and ensure gametime for our fringe and junior players.

The team will be known as North Stars in honour of what i believe to be the first foofball team in Hawston that was managed by Antie Coba.

Please join us this Sunday as Hawston FC and Hawston North Stars take on the best in the Overberg in the form of Real Attackers and Gladiators.

These matches will also be played in honour of our brother J'Mayne Sonii who has left a lasting impression on some of our boys RIP Footballer.

Good day Tribe

What a Derby day Mp City VS Hawston FC after a week of preperation the match lived up to its billing.

MP City came out all guns blazing and took the lead in the first half with a beautifullly crafted goal. This only lit the fire as the match went into the second half. Hawston FC was on the attack from the first whistle and it turned into one of the toughest derby matches yet.

Captain Zewhan Haas equalised in the second half followed by a beautiful individually crafted goal by Brendon Theodore Flink. The match however was marred by 2 red cards as our discipline let us down seeing us finishing the match with 9 men.

Discipline is something we pride ourselves on and is something we will have to work on before our next match. With a few new signings set to join the Blue Army competition for position will be the key.

To coach Aaron van Schalkwyk and his MP CITY boys a big thank you for always bringing your a game. Looking forward to the return fixture and another hard fought tie.

Good day Tribe

Today our boys took on newly promoted Motsepe side Salim United in a preperation friendly.

The fixture lived up to all the hype as the Blue Army took the lead from the first whistle with one of our talisman Zewhan Haas scoring the opener after some beautiful passing and build up from the back.

After a dominant first half Salim pulled one back against the run of play but the lead was restored shortly after the restart by the ever dangerous Rodrigo Majiet.

Our boys kept their shape and discipline as Salim pressed for the equaliser only to be thwarted by an amazing save by Sihle Goss Mxunyelwa in the dying seconds securing a 2-1 victory and ultimately the bragging rights frr the rest of the season.

The whole team proved their worth and discipline was ultimately the difference maker. We are extremely proud of every single one of our players and we look forward to the rest of the season.
