✨ There is magic in all of us… and today, we felt it everywhere. ✨

Today at Aero Equestrian Estate, we gathered with full hearts to celebrate the beautiful DeLantero as she steps gently into her season of retirement.

Some horses arrive in our lives and leave hoofprints. Others arrive and change the rhythm of our hearts completely. DeLantero is one of those rare, precious souls.

This beautiful mare has always carried herself with such grace, dignity and quiet wisdom. A true lady in every sense — kind, honest, generous, and full of that special magic that only the greatest horses seem to hold.

We have been so blessed to be a part of her journey, but perhaps the most beautiful part has been watching the bond between DeLantero and her rider, Carla. What this mare has taught this young lady cannot be measured in rosettes, ribbons or results. She has taught courage, trust, patience, feel, partnership, and the kind of love that only a horse can teach.

She has carried dreams. She has built confidence. She has turned hopes into memories and moments into magic.

And today, as we celebrated her, we were reminded once again that horses like DeLantero do not simply retire — they become legends in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know them.

Thank you, beautiful girl, for every lesson, every ride, every dream carried, and every piece of magic you have shared with us.

May your retirement be soft, peaceful, loved, and filled with sunshine, green grass, gentle hands and all the spoils you so deeply deserve.

At Aero Equestrian Estate, we believe you are always in one of two seasons — your winning season, or your learning season.

Both matter.
Both shape you.
Both grow you.

The winning seasons are beautiful. They bring ribbons, smiles, proud moments, and memories that stay with us forever. They remind us why we work hard, why we show up, and why we never stop believing in the partnership between horse and rider.

But the learning seasons are just as important.

They are the quiet seasons. The patient seasons. The seasons where we learn resilience, humility, trust, and grace. They are where character is built, partnerships are strengthened, and progress happens softly — one ride, one lesson, one brave step at a time.

Do it all with kindness.
Do it with love.
Do it with compassion.
Do it with commitment and dedication.

Celebrate the wins, but honour the lessons. Be gentle with yourself, be generous with others, and remember that every rider, every horse, and every partnership is on its own journey.

And above all — always put the horse first.

Because before the ribbons, before the results, and before the sport, there is a partnership that must be protected, respected, and honoured. The horse gives us trust, effort, heart, and honesty — and it is our responsibility to give them patience, care, understanding, and love in return.

At Aero, we believe success is not only measured by what happens in the arena, but by how we treat our horses, how we support one another, and how we grow through every season.

From all of us at Aero Equestrian Estate, a huge congratulations to Carla Louw and her beautiful mare DeLantero on a fantastic weekend at the SANESA Gauteng Ekurhuleni/Sedibeng CL Q3 2026 Qualifier 3, held on 16 & 17 May 2026 at Kyalami Park Club. 💙🐴

This partnership showed heart, courage and determination across a busy weekend, bringing home some lovely results:

Level 3 Working Hunter 70cm – 3rd place🏅
Level 3 Working Riding – 3rd place🏅
Level 3 Equitation SAEQA Welcome 80cm – 6th place🏅
Level 2 Dressage – Novice / DSA First Level – 16th place

The showjumping classes may not have gone according to plan, but Carla showed true sportsmanship, resilience and the spirit of a real rider — getting back up, smiling, and carrying on with grace.

This morning at Aero felt like something out of a storybook — soft mist, quiet horses, little dogs keeping watch, and that peaceful stillness that only a yard can give.

There is something so special about these early mornings, when the world slows down and you are reminded why horses have such a hold on our hearts.

There is something truly special about mornings like this at Aero Equestrian Estate. 🤍

Fresh country air, happy ponies, little riders, big smiles, and the quiet rhythm of hoofbeats across our beautiful farm.

This morning’s outride was a reminder that some of the most precious moments are the simple ones — children growing in confidence, ponies doing what they love, and our Aero family making memories together in the open countryside.
