Harrismith Mountain Race It's the oldest trail run in South Africa, featuring a relentless 676 m steep, technical ascent followed by a quad-numbing, zigzag descent.

The 15km route has a steep, technical ascent of 676m up One-man's Pass,

a run along the top of Platberg Mountain, followed by a decent of Zigzag Pass which will turn your thighs to jelly if the ascent didn't! The views are great & the spirit even more so! It is weekend and hope you all are getting ready to fly on the trails with some amazing training runs.
Just remember to enter for the Harrismith mini mountain and trail race before or on 5 October when online entries close.
Also a reminder all the distances are an ASA regulated race , you will need to wear your ASA registered numbers and Age group tags if you want to be eligible for any of the prices.
With the 30km trail race there is also a compulsory gear,please ensure you have it on race day, there will be a kit check.
There is still campsites available and a kid zone to keep the kids busy.
