Bring the whole family 🐾

Leaving the dog at home is the worst part of any trip 🐶 Our official policy on that is short. Do not. We are pet friendly, with room to run and a welcome committee already clocked in 🐾 Wollie handles greetings, Peggy handles quality control, and between them your dog gets the full tour and at least one new best friend before you have even unpacked. The best seats in the house

Every session at the arena comes with an audience 🐕🐕 Wollie and Peggy have claimed the best seats in the house, and they take the supervising very seriously. Behind them, the Outeniquas and a sky that goes on forever 🏔️ This is just a normal morning here, a horse finding its rhythm 🐴 two dogs pretending they are in charge, and nothing but hooves and birdsong. Sound on, and breathe out for a second.

Welcome, little lady 🐴

Everyone, meet the newest little lady at Dunkes, and yes, she is as small as she looks 🐴 She came to us this week from Garden Route SPCA- George - all legs and curiosity, and she has already decided the whole farm belongs to her.

A big thank you to the George SPCA team for the work they do and for trusting us with her 💛 Sound on for her first proper look at the place. This is what a second chance looks like on day one.

Wollie found the sweet spot and lost his entire mind about it. Ears back, eyes closed, tail going like a metronome.

A few quiet seconds before he's back on duty, greeting guests, inspecting carrots, supervising nothing in particular. For now, this is the whole job.
