Umvoti Gymnastics Academy gymnasts competed in their Second to last competition for the season as level 1s and a place in the KZN team and they all made us so proud. Three golds and two silvers and all became representatives for KZN Gymnastics. Well done to Amelia, Asmaa, Meghann, Hope and Sofie, all your hard work and determination paid off.

So proud of our Gymnasts who competed in their second competition for the year at the PMB Gymnastics Academy today. They all did brilliantly bringing home 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. Well done girls. 🤸🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️

Some exciting things happening with Umvoti Gymnastics Academy. Firstly WE HAVE MOVED.......you will now find us above the Nedbank, entry is via Cathcart Street at the back of the building and up all the stairs😁
Secondly Term 2 is well on its way already with our gymnasts all eager to learn more. Term 1 saw some of our gymnasts compete in their very first competition...7 competed, 6 came home with silver medals and 1 with gold. We are so incredibly proud of these girls. We are also super proud of all the other gymnasts who are working hard every lesson to get to competition level...I am indeed a very proud coach.
Thirdly Moms and Tots classes will be starting as from Monday 26 April at 09h30...Booking is essential for these classes and for more information please contact me.
Last but not least our Academy signs are up outside the premises drive past and let me know what you think...we are busy with gym club attire.. our competition kids have received theirs as that was priority for competitions but the others are not too far behind receiving.
One thing I've learnt with covid is having more patience than I thought I could possibly have...things do not happen in our time anymore it happens in covids time...so please bare with us as we go through this beautiful transformation of the academy and we thank everyone of our clubs familys for your ongoing support since starting this journey with you all. Greytown has a super community.

So I would just like to tell you all about our lessons at the Umvoti Gymnastics Academy. Not only do we do gymnastics and get a workout, we have started maths lessons, yes learning to count in 2s, 5s and 10s has been awesome.. We have some excellent teachers, Afrikaans came next at least I can speak that language and learnt very quickly when Michelle forgot to switch back to English for the others in class it didn't seem to matter as everyone figured out along the way what was required of them and then just yesterday we started our very first lesson of the arabic language, hoping truly hoping our tutors won't get us to say something funny and that what we are Saying is actually what We're being told it is🤔. So thank you to all our tutors that we get to see every week. I just know Our knowledge is going to increase by leaps and bounds. 😁💕
