Soneike High Handball is one of the most dedicated teams in the Classic Handball League. Their U19 boys' team earned the most points at the Classic Handball Derby match. Meanwhile, their girls' team is rebuilding with young players, focusing on future development. Included are pictures of the Eike cuties at work!

Bo-Kaap Handball Club Sends Shockwaves Through Classic Handball League

In a stunning turn of events, Bo-Kaap Handball Club has shaken up the Classic Handball League with a series of impressive performances. The newly formed club has made a name for itself in the handball fraternity, and its results are turning heads.

First, Bo-Kaap Handball Club held previous champions DSK to a draw, a testament to their skills and determination. But it was their match against DC Spartans that really raised eyebrows. In a heart-stopping match, Bo-Kaap Handball Club thought they had scored a thrilling last-second goal to sn**ch all three points. However, VAR intervened, disallowing the goal and leaving the teams to share the points.

Despite all, Bo-Kaap Handball Club's U19 men's team remains atop the league standings, while their women's team sits comfortably in second place. As the season unfolds, all eyes will be on this plucky newcomer to see if they can maintain their momentum and make a lasting impact on the Classic Handball League.

UPCOMING U20 CLASSIC HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

Cape Stars Handball Club , the reigning U20 Classic Handball Championship titleholders, is gearing up for another thrilling tournament!

This year's championship promises to be even more bigger and better, with:

10 male teams
10 female teams
A 4-day tournament to ensure ample playing and resting time
All teams staying at the village for the duration of the tournament

Will Cape Stars Handball Club defend their title, or will Kempa United Handball Club SA the runners up for the previous championship or another team rise to the challenge?

Cape Town, Western Cape – Classic Handball, the premier organizers of handball leagues and tournaments in Cape Town, is proud to announce the launch of the Classic Handball Professional League, aptly named Classic Handball Pro-League.

BUILDING ON JUNIOR SUCCESS

After years of successfully running handball leagues for junior categories (Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 15, and Under 19), we are excited to introduce the Pro-League for senior teams, both men and women.

PROFESSIONAL SETUP

The Classic Handball Pro-League will boast a professional setup, complete with:

- Live streaming of matches
- Properly trained and certified match officials
- Online management of updates, player registration, and league information on our website
- Adherence to the rules and regulations of the International Handball Federation, Western Province Handball Association, and Classic Handball
