Goju Ryu karate is a traditional Okinawan style of karate with roots that trace back to Master Chojun Miyagi. The style integrates both linear and circular movements. Goju applies not just to karate, but to life in general; being only “hard” or only “soft” will not enable one to deal effectively with the fluctuations of life, a balance is needed. Karoo OGKK is affiliated and authenticated by the Southern Cape Dojo in George under Sensei Jannie le Grange (6th Dan). OGKK stands for Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Kyokai which loosely translated means hard and soft school of open hands association. Some of the benefits of Goju Ryu training include:
