We absolutely nailed the weather conditions! Huge congratulations to Francios (“Pikki”) and Sabastian on successfully completing their Night Dive for the NAUI Advanced Program. 👏

A big thank you as well to Reece and Morne for stepping in as dive buddies. At DIVE and Adventure, we believe in pairing our students with experienced divers during training — it makes the learning experience safer, smoother, and far more enjoyable.

🌊 Weekend Wash-Up – Dive & Adventure 🌊

What an epic weekend it’s been out on the water with our Dive & Adventure crew!

Saturday we headed out to Pinnacle. With water temps sitting at a comfortable 20°C, conditions were warm. Although the water had that classic green tint, the ocean was calm — making it an absolutely fantastic dive.

Sunday took us to Doggy Rock… and what an absolute blast! Again, warm and green, but bursting with marine life and plenty to see. These are the dives that remind us why we love what we do.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend — loads of laughs, great company, and unforgettable underwater moments all around. 🤿

Weather permitting, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be doing our first Night Dive of the new year very soon… keep an eye on our page for details!

🌊🤿 Dive & Adventure – Dive Wash-Up 🤿🌊

Friday we headed out to Lorry Bay for a relaxed social dive, and wow… what a way to kick off the weekend!

🌡 Water temp: 18°C
👀 Visibility: On the green side
🔥 Vibes: Absolutely EPIC

The nudibranchs were out in full force, showing off like they knew we were coming, and the conditions made for a seriously enjoyable dive despite the viz. Best of all? An awesome group on the boat — great energy, loads of laughs, and everyone clocked dive times over an hour 🙌

🌊 Dive & Adventure – Weekend Wash-Up! 🤿
What. A. Weekend! 😍

The ocean truly spoiled us with some of the best diving conditions we’ve seen in a long time!

Saturday kicked off with a double-tank adventure at Lorry Bay and Tony’s Reef – great conditions and even greater company!

Sunday we were back at it with another epic two-tanker at Pinnacle and Doggy Rock, and wow… visibility and marine life were on point! 🐠✨

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better…

Monday delivered a next-level dive at Doggy Rock again – even better than yesterday! 😎
We could go on… but we’ll let the photos do the talking 📸😍

Another action-packed weekend for Eventide Marine & Dive & Adventure, Gordon’s Bay — here’s the weekend wash-up!

Friday was all about boat inspections (COFs), helping boat owners get their vessels compliant and ready for the upcoming season and crayfishing adventures.

Saturday kicked off early with Category R and E skipper theory training and exams. Candidates who had their logged hours and paperwork in order were practically assessed later that afternoon.

With ocean conditions less favourable on this side on Sunday, we headed through to Simonstown for a shore dive at A-Frame — and it did not disappoint! Excellent conditions, warm water, and plenty to see underwater. The day wrapped up, as tradition dictates, with a quick bite at Dixies in Simonstown.

🌊 WEEKEND WRAP-UP | Eventide Marine & Dive & Adventure – Gordon’s Bay 🌊

What an action-packed weekend we had!

Eventide Marine kicked things off with multiple boats coming in for their annual boat inspections. From there, the pace never slowed!
🚤 Saturday morning launched with a Cat E & R Skippers Course, followed by a busy afternoon of Skippers practicals.
⏰ Sunday at 7am sharp, the team was back at it with Cat C practicals and an SRC VHF–SRC Radio Course to round off a full and productive weekend of training.

Meanwhile, Dive & Adventure had an unforgettable time below the surface!
🤿 Saturday’s dive at Orange County was buzzing with nudi sightings, and the highlight was a curious octopus that took a big interest in a diver’s camera—plenty of laughs and amazing moments!
🌟 Sunday’s dive at Pinnacle delivered more epic sightings and another incredible group onboard.
