The deadline is almost here! Players wishing to compete in the Goodwood TTC Open 2026 need to act now to avoid missing out on one of the Cape Town table tennis calendar’s exciting officially ranked events.

✅ Under-21 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles
✅ Men’s and Women’s Singles

✅ Men’s 60+ Singles
✅ Men’s and Women’s Doubles

Entry fees

🔴 R75 per Under-21 event
🔴 R150 per singles event
🔴 R200 per doubles pair

We’re excited to confirm that a Men’s 60+ Singles category has been added to the Goodwood TTC Open 2026.

This addition follows interest from the table tennis community, and we’re pleased to create another opportunity for players to compete.

📅 Dates: 24th – 26th July 2026
📍 Venue: Goodwood Sports Club, 54 Milton Road, Goodwood
💰 Entry Fee: R150 for the Men’s 60+ Singles category
⏳ Closing Date for Entries: 17th July 2026

Planning is well underway for the Goodwood TTC Open 2026, and we’d love to hear from players who are interested in participating.

We’ve created a short Expression of Interest Form to help us estimate numbers, understand which events players are interested in, and plan the tournament as effectively as possible.

We, at the Goodwood table tennis club, mourn the loss of one of our members,
Calhoun o Connell, who suddenly passed away yesterday morning. The news comes as a great shock to everyone especially at the club as we still interacted at the meeting Wednesday night where he accepted responsibility of a much needed Club captain.
This is just one of the many things he would do to improve our club. He managed in his own time and money to fix surrounds, nets and whatever he could at the club. He had so many ideas for this year and things he wanted to achieve. We bid farewell to a great person who always had a smile and treated people with the utmost respect.
Rest well our friend and rise in peace where you have no more pain.
