🏁 F1 Update 🏁

This will certainly place pressure on the FIA to alter their stance on future races. Supporters have been dead-keen on the season opener with Renault F1 Team releasing their livery for the 2020 season a couple of hours ago.

As much as we want the season to go on as usual - it is important to place the safety of the teams, drivers and supporters at the forefront of all decisions.

⚽️ UEFA Champions League Preview ⚽️

UEFA Champions League holders Liverpool FC face a tricky challenge when they host Atlético de Madrid tonight. Jürgen Klopp's Reds have had a fantastic season so far - but a recent slump in form has put unexpected pressure on the Premier League leaders. Having fallen to a 1-0 defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium - they have it all to do if they wish to reach the Quarter-Finals of the competition.

The game for the neutrals is PSG - Paris Saint-Germain against Borussia Dortmund. The German outfit played impressively well at home 3 weeks ago. Erling Braut Håland grabbed 2 goals to give BVB the slight advantage. All eyes will be on Paris - despite the match occurring behind closed doors.

Manchester City and Arsenal have had their Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium cancelled this evening. Precautions are being taken due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Manchester City's Premier League home match against Arsenal on Wednesday has been postponed because players from the London club have had contact with the owner of Greek side Olympiakos, who has contracted the coronavirus.

Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio and RB Leipzig are the first two sides to confirm their places in the Champions League Quarter-Finals. Both clubs have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their history.

Tottenham Hotspur looked horrendously poor and José Mourinho will have his work cut out to find quality additions in the summer. Especially if their Premier League form doesn't improve.

Valencia C.F couldn't manage to withstand Atalanta's fluid attacking football - but they provided an entertaining tie nonetheless.

Timo Werner has told Sky Sports that he is still not convinced about joining Premier League leaders Liverpool FC, Manchester United or Manchester City. It is crunch time in the UEFA Champions League for Tottenham Hotspur. Their season is in danger of petering out in March as their league form has been horrendous. RB Leipzig go into the 2nd leg with a vital Away Goal. It is going to take all of Mourinho's might to overturn this one.

Valencia C.F have their work cut out for them against Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio. The Italians have a commanding lead - but could the Away Goal play a part in this tie? Odds are it is dead and buried. But we shall have to wait and see.

Liverpool FC fans can really start to dream after this weekend's Premier League results. The Reds saw off a persistent AFC Bournemouth outfit 2-1 to close in on their first top division title since 1990 🔴.

Manchester United did their rivals a huge favour by defeating Manchester City in their Manchester Derby. A 2-0 victory would have instilled major confidence in Ole Gunnar Solskjær's men with a tough UEFA Champions League run-in awaiting 🔺.

Chelsea Football Club will be delighted with their up-turn in form. The Blues hammered Carlo Ancelotti's Everton, as the Italian tactician returned to his old stomping ground 🔵.

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping for a purple patch as they languish 7 points behind the Top 4. UEFA Champions League qualification must be a minimum for the Londoners - as expectations have risen since the construction of their State-of-the-Art Stadium was completed last March⚪️.
