Let’s be real!! January hits hard!! & Now????

We start the year thinking we need to do all kinds of new years new goals things - like 5000 of them… okay, maybe I’m exaggerating… it’s more like 50 right? Big goals, big dreams, big plans, all in aid of aiming for that next level up. Personally I don’t believe there is ever that final level. I guess it’s human to want more, to be more, to do better, live better?

I suppose that if we focused on just 5 of the 50 a day? Five small, intentional actions to move forward towards that level up during the week, then on weekends, switch it up with five different ones that are a little more food for the soul, it could make the journey feel lighter, more joyful, and actually doable to be honest.

We are all juggling a lot. Working woman, Mom, problem solver, friend, the go to and glue keeping it all together.

1. Try a new workout: Break out of your routine and switch things up. Whether it's a workout class, or exploring a YouTube trend - trying something new can inject excitement into your fitness journey. And share it with us see 🤘🏻🤩

2. Find a workout buddy: Fitness is more fun with a friend. Grab a workout buddy and challenge each other to reach new goals. You can provide support, encourage one another, and make exercising a fun and social activity.

3. Dance it out: Turn up the beats and have a mini dance party in your living room. Dancing not only burns calories but also releases endorphins and promotes a positive mood. Plus, it's a fantastic way to let loose and have some fun! This is so much fun I’m promise or jump on a trampoline.

4. Set goals and reward yourself: Set realistic fitness goals for yourself and establish rewards when you achieve them. Treat yourself to something you enjoy, like, or a relaxing day at the spa. Having something to look forward to can give you that extra boost of motivation.

5. Explore virtual fitness options: With plenty of virtual fitness classes available these days, you can find a workout that suits your interests. From dance workouts to yoga sessions, there's something for everyone. Plus, you can join in from the comfort of your own home. Oh and send your coach a video 😅

6. Create a motivational playlist: Music can be a powerful motivator. Create a playlist of your favorite upbeat songs to keep you entertained and energized during your workouts. Choose songs that inspire you and give you that extra push.

7. Track your progress: Keep track of your fitness journey by using your fitness tracker. Seeing your progress and improvements over time can be incredibly motivating and help you stay on track.

Remember, the key to staying motivated is finding activities that you genuinely enjoy. So have fun, stay active, and make the most out of your fitness journey. Let's make this Friday a fit and fabulous.

WE ARE NOT JUST A FITNESS PROGRAM WE AIM TO CHANGE LIVES FOR THE BETTER!

Client Testimony - BODY BEAUTIFUL AGAINST BULLYING

"This year has been a difficult one for me as I faced numerous incidents of bullying. I want to share some of the events that occurred:

On one particular day, I was in the bathroom and had left my water outside the stall. My friend and her best friend were present, and another girl asked them whose water it was. My friend identified it as mine, but her best friend refused to touch it and they both started giggling. It was disheartening for me that my lifelong friend didn't stand up for me. To make matters worse, my friend then claimed that I deserved to be treated that way.

In another instance, my friend and her best friend sat a couple of rows ahead of me in the hallway and started mocking my appearance, calling my hair ugly, commenting on my weight, and even saying I looked ugly with makeup. They did all of this while intentionally looking at me and laughing. Additionally, my friend posted hurtful things aimed at me on her social media page.

I also experienced a falling out with another friend this year, which resulted in me losing my entire friend group. This person, whom I'll refer to as 'Her', also went on to humiliate me in front of my entire class. As a result, I found myself isolated during breaks, and that's when I turned to food for comfort.

I want to emphasize the importance of kindness because the impact of words lasts a lifetime. The things that have happened to me this year, and in previous years, are experiences I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemies. Nobody deserves to be treated in such a cruel manner."

Let's all unite against bullying and strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. Tatum you have inspired me and so many others today!!

Thank you brave girl for sharing your story - you are a little light that’s going to keep shining brighter and brighter and your actions are making a huge impact on others - we need you so don’t you ever give up!!!!! May I just add bullying May start in school but it continues into adulthood and the sooner we see that the bully is projecting what’s going on inside of them, the sooner we will be able to see past the pain they are inflicting on others and realise that they are in fact the ones that most need the love and kindness ❤️
