Moments are powerful.
And we experience them every day.
Moments of pressure.
Moments of change.
Moments of uncertainty.
Moments of opportunity.
Moments that can lift people — or drain them.
But leaders carry a unique ability:
the ability to shape those moments for other people.
To bring calm when things feel chaotic.
To create clarity when things feel confusing.
To elevate an ordinary interaction.
To steady a team through change.
To help turn pressure into progress.
Leadership is not only about the big moments.
Often, it is about what happens in the moments right in front of us.
It was a privilege to present my keynote, The Moment of Impact: How Leaders Shape Moments — a talk that uses the timeless principles of golf’s moment of impact to explore how leaders create high-quality, consistent impact in the moments that matter most — to the team at across two conferences in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
