I had such a great little run this morning! I received high fives, cheers and encouragement from several people on my route as they make their way to work. I was quite touched by their friendliness and humility. I wish I could start every morning on a positive like this.

Strong stabilising muscles assist with having good posture and alignment which means you decrease the risk of injuring yourself or dealing with little aches and pains. Stability exercises are often looked at as unimportant but let me tell you, they’re as important.

First run after having my second baby. My abdominals are still quite tender after my C-section.
Note to self: listen to the advice you give to so many others. It takes +- 40 weeks to make a baby. It takes about 12 month for your body to progressively recover. Be patient with yourself.

1st pic: 2 months post c-section. Lots of fat flabby tummy and love handle rolls. You can’t really see them in this pic but trust me, they are very present.

Even though I've gone from no hamstring bump to small hamstring bump, I guess I'll still keep working them as hard as I can.

We all have areas that are weak, therfore we must work on our strengths and work even harder on our areas of weakness.
