We can’t improve significantly in life or create anything unique or different if we can’t stretch beyond our safe zone. Opportunity rewards those who step outside their comfort zone

So don’t shy away from difficulty. Don’t do things just because they’re easy or it is the way you’ve always done things. We grow by overcoming obstacles.

"Today I am going to choose growth over comfort" ⁠

Consider what life would be if we only did what we know, what we were already good at or what we currently liked. We would never grow.⁠

Learning happens outside of the familiar and comfortable. This isn’t news for most of us. ⁠

Choosing growth in all its forms, challenges our preconceived notions and expands our comfort circle. As our comfort circle increases, so does our willingness to tackle bigger risks.⁠

When we dare to take ownership of our lives, we will never end up empty-handed. There’s always a lesson, an adventure, a friend or a new opportunity that will come from the energy we created by being more daring. ⁠

Casein and whey protein are both derived from milk.

They differ in digestion times — casein digests slowly, making it good before bedtime, while whey digests quickly and is ideal for workouts and muscle growth.

Both contain different bioactive compounds that may boost your immune system and offer other benefits.

Choosing one over the other won’t necessarily bestow better results in the gym or markedly improve your health, so select the one that you prefer or buy a blend that contains both.

Above all, remember that your total daily intake of protein matters most.

How do we keep moving forward even when we don't feel motivated?

1. Make sure the goal you are pursuing is something you deeply want.

2. Learn to enjoy the process, even if it is uncomfortable. That is where growth happens.

3. Have the systems and habits in place so that you don't have to think about the next step or have an internal dialogue about it. Just do it because that is who you are.

What should we eat for health?⁠

Eating real foods is the fastest way to health. Real food is whole, single ingredient food. It is mostly unprocessed, free of additives and rich in nutrients. It is the type of food humans ate exclusively for thousands of years.⁠

Real food is generally low in sugar, high in fiber and helps control blood sugar levels and triglycerides. It provides variety and is good for your gut health. ⁠

Stick to the outside isles when you do your food shopping and choose foods that ARE ingredients, not ones that HAVE ingredients.⁠

When we achieve amazing results with our fitness, it also gives us the self belief to take on other challenges. Seeing even the smallest changes in our bodies week in week out and proving to ourselves that we have the motivation to see our exercise routine through and reach our goals is a great feeling. It also proves that we can channel that motivation and energy into every part of our lives.

In order to succeed, we need to put in the effort on days when we really don't feel like it. And being able to overcome those feelings simply empowers us with more self-belief and motivation to reach the next big goal.⁠

By doing hard things that challenges us, we learn self respect. Few things will cause more happiness than that.
