Koga Judo Club We are a competitive Judo club working towards improving ourselves on the mat and off. We train at the American International School of Cape Town.

Mondays and Wednesdays, 18:30 to 20:00.

celebrates 🥋

Today’s Doodle, illustrated by Los Angeles, CA-based artist Cynthia Yuan Cheng, celebrates Japan’s “Father of Judo,” Professor Kanō Jigorō, on his 161st birthday.

The name Judo means “the gentle way” and Kanō saw the martial art as a way to bring people together, even while throwing opponents to the mat.
