Under this Libra Full Moon, we are invited back into balance…

into harmony between effort and ease, giving and receiving, doing and simply being.

This gentle mini moon salutation becomes a moving meditation — a way to release stored tension and return to your center.

This flow is about releasing tension and restoring equilibrium

Softening the nervous system

Letting go of over-efforting

Reconnecting to your natural rhythm

Libra reminds us: balance is not something we force… it is something we feel.

Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Let this be less about the shapes, and more about the space you create within them.

Seated Side Bend (Parsva Sukhasana)

The seated side bend is a gentle, accessible yoga stretch that increases spinal mobility, stretches the obliques, intercostals, and shoulders, and improves posture. It reduces tension in the back and neck, promotes deeper breathing by opening the rib cage, and provides a calming, grounding effect.

Some days your yoga practice looks like deep, steady breaths…
Other days it looks like fidgeting, sighing, stretching, checking the clock.
Some days it’s a juicy vinyasa flow, sweat dripping, heart open.
Some days it’s yin on the floor, barely moving, just trying to feel safe in your body.
And some days…
You roll out your mat, stare at it, and nothing happens.
That’s still practice.
Yoga isn’t about forcing yourself into shapes.
It’s about meeting yourself exactly as you are.
Restless? Let yourself move.
Heavy? Let yourself be held by stillness.
Exhausted? Lying on your mat and breathing is enough.
Overwhelmed? Even sitting beside your mat counts.
Your practice doesn’t have to look the same every day to be valid.
The real yoga is the listening.
The choosing kindness over pressure.
The allowing instead of the pushing.
Show up honestly.
That’s the practice.

Abhaya Mudra (Fearlessness)

Meaning:
Abhaya Mudra is the gesture of reassurance and fearlessness. It invites a sense of safety, trust, and calm courage, reminding the nervous system that it is okay to soften, open, and meet life with a steady heart.

How to Practice:
• Raise one hand with the palm facing outward at shoulder or heart height
• Keep the fingers relaxed and gently extended
• Let the other hand rest on the lap or heart
• Breathe slowly for 1–3 minutes, feeling into a sense of safety

Benefits:
Courage • Reassurance • Trust

Affirmation:
“I am safe and supported.”

Reflection:
Where in my life am I being invited to soften fear and trust myself more deeply?

Inversions | Changing Your Perspective

Inversions invite us to see the world differently — literally and energetically. When we turn ourselves upside down, we gently disrupt old patterns, habitual ways of seeing, and invite fresh perspective into the body and mind. What once felt heavy can suddenly feel lighter. What felt stuck can begin to move again.

🙃 Why inversions are so powerful (and kind of magical):
They shift your viewpoint — helping you see situations from a new angle
They boost circulation and energise the body
They build courage, confidence, and trust in yourself
They invite playfulness and curiosity into your practice
They gently challenge fear and comfort zones

🧠 Mindset magic – the perception shift:
When you invert the body, the mind often follows. Suddenly, your “problems” don’t look the same. You realise: maybe there’s more than one way to look at this. Inversions teach us that a small shift in perspective can unlock big inner movement. They remind us that growth doesn’t always come from pushing harder — sometimes it comes from seeing differently.

Mermaid Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana – Mermaid Variation)

Mermaid pose invites us to move like water — fluid, playful, and free. This heart-opening, hip-opening shape helps us soften into our bodies while awakening a sense of joy and creativity. It’s a beautiful reminder that yoga doesn’t always have to be serious… sometimes it gets to be magical.

🌊 Why Mermaid Pose is such a fun pose:
It feels expressive and whimsical – like embodying your inner sea-goddess
It opens the heart and chest, encouraging confidence and self-love
It stretches the hips, thighs, and spine – releasing stored tension
It invites playfulness and imagination into your practice
It helps you explore balance between strength and softness

🧜‍♀️ Energetic benefits:
Mermaid pose opens the heart space and hip area – two places where we often hold emotions. As you breathe into this shape, you may feel a gentle release of heaviness, and a wave of emotional freedom. It’s a powerful posture for letting go, opening up, and feeling beautifully alive in your body.
