Seeing her current Women’s U/20 100m ranking is a wonderful reflection of her commitment, dedication and hard work. What an incredible journey it has been!

And to her coach, Gert De Klerk — from the moment you heard that Chrystabel had made the team, you left no stone unturned. You prepared her mentally and physically, stood beside her every step of the way, and drove the fundraising campaign that ultimately made this opportunity possible.

The championship may be over, but Chrystabel’s journey is far from over. 🇿🇦✨ She is already looking ahead, ready to chase her next goal and reach even greater heights.

Without your belief, dedication and relentless commitment, this would not have been possible.

South Africa’s Leading U20 Men’s 100m Times of 2026

South Africa’s U20 men’s sprinting has enjoyed a standout 2026 season, with Marko Ferreira leading the national 100m times with an impressive 10.04 seconds (+1.8).

Ferreira, the South African U20 champion, has enjoyed a brilliant season on the international stage, also securing bronze at the World U20 Championships. His 10.04 performance has placed him just outside the elusive sub-10-second barrier, underlining his rapid development.

Mukona Manavhela, the South African U20 silver medallist, is second on the list with 10.14 (-1.2), an impressive performance achieved into a headwind.

Zattu Hlongwane ranks third with 10.21 (+0.6), followed by Marlon Kayster at 10.31 (+0.4) and Martin Joubert at 10.32 (-0.6).

South Africa’s leading U20 female sprinters have produced impressive performances over 100m during the 2026 season, with Rumé Burger currently leading the South African times with a blistering 11.49 seconds (+1.0).

Zoé Cilliers, the 2026 South African U20 100m champion, sits second with 11.55 (-0.9), while Hannah Vermaak, the U20 silver medallist, is third with 11.58 (+1.5).

Faith Konde is fourth with 11.61 (+0.4), followed by Chrystabel Davis in fifth with 11.64 (+1.3).
