''How can I get a flat stomach?" So you asking.
Okay, Thats Very easy. Lose your total body fat. Thats my response. "How?" well, There is a simple formula to it, which involves: Physical Activity, Nutrition and Genes all playing a part. It canโt just be a โStomach Workout,โ unfortunately. Thereโs a lot of dedication, consistency and hardwork that goes along with it, but the resultsโฆ speak for themselves. Buckle up.
A flat stomach generally needs a lower body fat percentage. Now ladies, it's important to remember that training a certain area in your workout won't cause fat loss there, like training abs for a flat tummy๐
๐ปโโ๏ธ This will only hit the muscles in that area!
Fat loss comes about if you're in a calorie deficit; when your calorie output is bigger than your calorie input. And our genetics determines where we lose the fat from first, so for some people they might achieve a flat stomach with a higher body fat % than others.
The best thing to do is be consistent with your fat loss journey: ticking a 300-500kCal deficit, training 3-5 times a week, regular HIIT and 10k steps a day. If you're consistent with this, you're guaranteed to make progress๐๐ป๐ค
One thing I do want you to remember ladies, is that as females, you naturally hold more fat on your lower stomach. This is to protect your uterus and ovaries, and support pregnancy. So with that in mind, you may never have a completely flat stomach! I've heard lots of women feel negatively about it, but this is something that supports and protects your amazing bodies that carry lives and is something that you should accept and be proud of.
