🌿 TRAIL UPDATE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR PREVENTION

Hi everyone.
Just a quick update from our side: we’re going to close the trails for a short while so we can put a few preventative biosecurity measures in place. There’s no issue in our area — we’re simply staying ahead and making sure we protect the farms and animals around us.

We’ll reopen as soon as everything is set up.
Thanks for understanding and for helping us look after the environment and the community.

Who litter less in races .... runners or cyclists .... and why .... interesting debate considering the state of the N6 after the race on Saturday ... anyone got any contacts with some clout to actually get this addressed, going forward.

Just a reminder about this event happening on Sunday. All cyclists are still welcome but keep in mind that there will little motor bike riders out and about.

Good morning EL cyclists ... we are busy clearing the bush on the yellow route ... would like feedback on its rideability ... we have not yet recreated the sand paths everywhere but we have cleared the bush. A big shout out to Patrick for all his hard work.
Please be careful on the big berm ... we have not patched that enough .. anyone got rubber matting to use on that please let Lorraine know.
Also at some point we will open up the path to the big dam, and reposition that bridge, and redirect you on a circular path turning right back to the yellow route... watch this space.

Please remind yourself of what portion of our trails is no longer available to the public.

Please restrict yourselves to enjoying the green and yellow routes, and all the alternatives within those routes, for the short-term, as the last portion of the farm, with entry B36, is in the process of being sold, and we have not yet finalised the alternatives for the blue and red routes. Please see attached map to see the line you must not go beyond.
Riding the yellow and then the green puts you on an 18km loop 🚵‍♂️ .
