π Tour d'Afrique - Jongensfontein
3 DAYS TO GO!
It is with the greatest excitement that we announce the arrangements for this weekend coming! We, the local waveski community are proud to share one of our favourite spots with you. Jongensfontein is a secluded village that is safe and beautiful.
π Please see below a pin of the competition area:

π The wave is a right hand reef break with an easy paddle out. Unless the swell is huge which this spot does not handle well.
π Conditions:
Looks like we are going to be blessed to have a great weather, and good waves! At a guess, medium sized waves with no wind. Just what Jongens loves.
π Registration:
Friday Evening, Meeting at 6pm, at the Pikkewyn Restaurant on the beach road (the only restaurant in town!) There is a cash bar available and food if anyone wants to hang there. Registration will be fast as most of us will be making our own meals at our houses.
π Competition:
Conditions are favourable for Saturday, and briefing will be at the Judges tower at 7:15am with start planned for 8am. The flow has been announced as per the msg on Monday.
πΌ Please respect the town, it is sacred to our community. Clean up after yourselves & be respectful of the locals & their environment.
π The trip from Cape Town to Jongens will take about 3.5 - 4 hours. Itβs a beautiful drive, the roads are good.
PLEASE drive safe!
SOOOO looking forward to seeing some of the worlds best Waveski surfers taking on each other at spot we all love! π
See you in Jongens! π€πΌ
