Brilliant performances by HPC golfers ! Well done !👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The East London Golf Club Champs Match Play event took place this past weekend, 14-15 March 2026.

Arron Louw and Ben Weber both delivered outstanding performances on Saturday, winning their quarter-final and semi-final matches to secure their places in the 36-hole final on Sunday.

In an exciting final, Arron won the match to become the Men’s A Division Club Champion for 2026.

A big congratulations to HPC athlete Anthony Cox for finishing 3rd at the SA Sprint Triathlon Championships on 9th March. A fantastic performance and a well-earned spot on the podium.
Anthony also had great results at the World UIPM Biathle/triathle champs held in Mossel Bay in Dec 2025
He achieved 4th place and a team Gold medal for Biathle

What a run from HPC golfer Arron Louw

ELGC Golf Ambassador and reigning EL Open Champion continues to shine with some outstanding performances.

Earlier this month, Arron competed at the Grey High Festival of Golf at Katberg Golf Estate, where he fired a magnificent 9-under-par 63 to secure the title for Selborne College.

He followed that up this past weekend with another Open victory at the West Bank Open, posting rounds of 66 and 67 for a superb 11-under-par total — believed to be a record score for Open competitions in the history of the Border region!

An incredible achievement and a fantastic ambassador for the club.
