Sharpshooter Badge – 1st Leg Complete!

A huge well done to all our Scouts who successfully completed the 1st Leg of the Sharpshooter Interest Badge!

Saturday was filled with focus, discipline, patience, and plenty of determination as Scouts put their aiming skills to the test. It was fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another while working towards their badge requirements.

Every great marksman starts with mastering the basics, and our Scouts have taken an excellent first step on their Sharpshooter journey. We are proud of the effort, concentration, and sportsmanship shown by everyone involved.

1st Leg – Done and Dusted!
Now onwards to the next challenge as we continue working towards the full Sharpshooter Interest Badge.

🥋 Patrol Leaders Take Charge at Self-Defence Night! 🥋

What an action-packed evening of learning, leadership, and teamwork!

Our Patrol Leaders had the exciting opportunity to be trained by special guest instructors in a range of self-defence techniques. Once they had mastered the skills, they stepped up to the challenge and passed their knowledge on to their patrol members.

From learning how to stay aware of their surroundings to practising practical self-defence moves, everyone got involved and gained valuable skills that could help keep them safe. Most importantly, the evening showcased the true spirit of Scouting, learning by doing and leading by example.

A huge thank you to our guest instructors for sharing their expertise and helping our Scouts build confidence, resilience, and personal safety awareness.

👏 Well done to all our Patrol Leaders for embracing the challenge and teaching with enthusiasm and confidence!

Youth Month

May is Youth Services Month and we need your help.

Owls Patrol Mini Soup Kitchen

Today, our amazing Owls Patrol put the Scout Promise into action by helping others through their very own Mini Soup Kitchen.

With teamwork, kindness, and a spirit of service, they prepared and shared warm meals with members of the community. Every bowl served was a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

We are incredibly proud of our Scouts for showing compassion, generosity, and living the values of Scouting every day.

Helping other people at all times!

Working Towards Their Observation Badge!

This Friday our Scouts put their observation skills to the test as they worked towards their Observation Badge by studying and identifying different cloud formations.

Scouts learned how to recognise various cloud types, what they can tell us about weather conditions, and the importance of careful observation in the outdoors. These are valuable skills for hiking, camping, navigation, and understanding the natural world around us.

A good Scout is always observant, and our Scouts proved just that by looking beyond the obvious and paying attention to the details above them.

Well done to everyone who took part and showed great enthusiasm and curiosity!

Dear Parents & Guardians, if you have old scout uniforms, that do not fit any longer or your child does not attend Scouts any longer, please donate uniforms back to us so we can use them for someone who cannot afford a uniform. Times are hard and we often looking for second hand Scout Uniforms. ⚜️ YIS Robyn ⚜️

In just 1 hour, our Scouts collected food goodies to be donated to D J Sobey Old Age Home.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and supported this collection drive. Your generosity made a meaningful difference and showed the true spirit of community. 💛

We are incredibly proud of our Scouts for their hard work and dedication to helping others.
