I got bullied every day as a child by bigger children, and my mother took me to the local boxing club to toughen up. Since Bruce Lee was my idol as a child, I started training in Martial Arts. I trained Karate under Sensei Stan Schmidt who was

a South African master of Shotokan karate. I also trained with others, such as Sensei Norman Robinson. Sensei Stan Schmidt graded me personally for my Black Belt. I represented Border Karate and was given my Border Colors. I trained Unarmed Combat under Soke Ben Mängels who is the founder and honorary life member of the South African Institute of Unarmed Combat. I Boxed and did Karate in the Police College during my Police Training in Pretoria. I have worked the streets as a Policeman, and that taught me awareness and to be ready for action 24/7. I also train with the Indonesian Karambit as used by Indonesian Knife Fighters. The Indonesians are the best knife fighters in the world anyway! I train and educate those that are open to receive me...
