The Problem: Fatty Liver and Fatigue πŸ«€

A – The Problem

Many people think liver problems only affect heavy drinkers.

Yet fatty liver is becoming increasingly common, even in people who rarely drink alcohol.

One of the earliest symptoms may be unexplained fatigue.

B – Why It Happens

When excess fat accumulates in the liver:

β€’ liver function becomes less efficient
β€’ blood sugar regulation may be affected
β€’ inflammation can increase
β€’ energy production may become less efficient

Common contributors include:

β€’ excess sugar intake
β€’ insulin resistance
β€’ obesity
β€’ lack of exercise
β€’ metabolic syndrome

C – What This Causes

β€’ fatigue
β€’ brain fog
β€’ low motivation
β€’ increased inflammation
β€’ difficulty losing weight

🌿 D – The Solution

Support liver health by:

β€’ reducing added sugars
β€’ increasing physical activity
β€’ prioritising sleep
β€’ eating more whole foods
β€’ maintaining a healthy weight

A healthier liver often means better energy.

FRIDAY – The Problem: Nutrient Malabsorption πŸ₯—

A – The Problem

You may be eating healthy foods but your body isn't absorbing nutrients efficiently.

B – Why It Happens

Absorption depends on:

β€’ stomach acid β€’ digestive enzymes β€’ bile β€’ gut health

If any of these are compromised, absorption may suffer.

C – What This Causes

β€’ fatigue β€’ brain fog β€’ low immunity β€’ poor recovery β€’ nutrient deficiencies

🌿 D – The Solution

Focus on digestive foundations:

β€’ chew food well β€’ reduce stress while eating β€’ support gut health β€’ include protein with meals β€’ eat a variety of whole foods

Absorption is just as important as what you eat.

The Problem: Gut Dysbiosis 🦠

A – The Problem

Your gut contains trillions of bacteria that influence digestion, immunity, and energy.

B – Why It Happens

The balance of gut bacteria may be disrupted by:

β€’ antibiotics β€’ chronic stress β€’ poor diet β€’ lack of fibre β€’ infections

C – What This Causes

β€’ bloating β€’ irregular bowel habits β€’ inflammation β€’ poor nutrient absorption β€’ low energy

🌿 D – The Solution

Support a healthy microbiome:

β€’ eat diverse vegetables β€’ include fermented foods if tolerated β€’ increase fibre gradually β€’ prioritize sleep β€’ manage stress

A healthy gut supports the entire body.

The Problem: Poor Bile Flow πŸ«’

A – The Problem

You may struggle with fatty foods and feel sluggish after eating them.

B – Why It Happens

The liver produces bile and the gallbladder stores it.

Bile helps:

β€’ break down fats β€’ absorb fat-soluble vitamins β€’ remove waste products

Poor bile flow can make fat digestion difficult.

C – What This Causes

β€’ bloating β€’ nausea after fatty meals β€’ constipation β€’ poor absorption of vitamins A, D, E and K β€’ low energy

🌿 D – The Solution

Support bile flow:

β€’ stay hydrated β€’ eat fibre-rich foods β€’ include healthy fats β€’ stay physically active β€’ maintain a healthy body weight

Healthy bile flow supports digestion and nutrient absorption.

The Problem: Not Enough Digestive Enzymes 🍽️

A – The Problem

You eat healthy foods but often feel heavy, bloated, or uncomfortable after meals.

B – Why It Happens

Digestive enzymes help break down:

β€’ proteins β€’ fats β€’ carbohydrates

Without enough enzymes, food may not be fully digested.

C – What This Causes

β€’ gas β€’ bloating β€’ food sensitivities β€’ nutrient malabsorption β€’ fatigue after meals

🌿 D – The Solution

Support enzyme production:

β€’ eat slowly β€’ chew thoroughly β€’ reduce stress before meals β€’ include bitter foods and vegetables β€’ avoid overeating

Better digestion helps unlock nutrients from food.

The Problem: Poor Nutrient Absorption πŸ₯—

A – The Problem

Have you ever wondered why some people eat healthy foods and take supplements but still feel exhausted?

The answer may be poor nutrient absorption.

B – Why It Happens

Before nutrients can help your body, they must first be absorbed.

This process depends on:

β€’ healthy stomach acid β€’ digestive enzymes β€’ bile production β€’ a healthy gut lining β€’ balanced gut bacteria

If any of these systems are struggling, nutrient absorption may decrease.

C – What This Causes

Poor absorption may contribute to:

β€’ fatigue β€’ low energy β€’ brain fog β€’ poor recovery β€’ weakened immunity β€’ vitamin and mineral deficiencies

Even the healthiest diet cannot help if nutrients aren't being properly absorbed.

🌿 D – The Solution

Support digestion from the beginning:

β€’ chew your food thoroughly β€’ avoid eating while stressed β€’ eat protein regularly β€’ support gut health β€’ stay hydrated β€’ eat a variety of whole foods

Next week we'll explore one of the most overlooked causes of poor digestion...

πŸ”₯ Low stomach acid.

Because digestion doesn't begin in the gut.

It begins in the stomach.

The Problem: Blood Sugar Rollercoaster 🍬➑️😴

A – The Problem

You feel bursts of energy… then sudden crashes.
You may crave sugar, caffeine, or snacks to keep going.

B – Why It Happens

When meals are high in refined carbs or low in protein:

β€’ blood sugar rises quickly
β€’ insulin spikes
β€’ blood sugar drops afterward

This creates unstable energy.

C – What This Causes

β€’ afternoon crashes
β€’ irritability
β€’ cravings
β€’ shakiness
β€’ brain fog
β€’ more reliance on sugar or caffeine

🌿 D – The Solution

Build balanced meals:

β€’ protein every meal
β€’ fibre-rich carbs
β€’ healthy fats
β€’ don’t skip meals
β€’ walk 10 mins after meals

Stable blood sugar = stable energy.

Walking is underrated.Walking helps: β€’ blood sugarβ€’ stressβ€’ moodβ€’ stiffnessβ€’ brain fog10 minutes counts.

β€’ walk outside
β€’ stretch
β€’ 10 chair squats

Action creates motivation πŸ”₯
