‘NEW FOR THE WALKERS’
Age Category Tags….. taken from the latest ASA report.
The Age Category Tag will apply to all RUNNERS as well.

1. During Road Races, which accept Walkers and where Walkers and Runners compete simultaneously, ALL Walkers must wear an official ‘W’’ IDENTIFICATION TAG TO INDICATE THAT THEY ARE Walkers, to be eligible for awards
2. The size of the lettering on the tags must be a minimum of 6cm and a maximum of 8cm in height, and must be worn visibly above the Licence/Race number bib on the upper body clothing, back and front. The Lettering shall be Red on a White background.
3. This new regulation apparently came into force on the 1st January 2015
4. Note, the Age Tag no longer has to be on either the left or right shoulder front and back, just on the upper body – back and front – but must be above the licence number.

MASTERS can buy beautifully made – correct size- Age Tags and ‘W’ for the walkers from Sheila…. At R20.00 a pair.

KZNMA will be hosting the 2015 SA Championship on the weekend of the 1&2 May 2015. We will be having a LOC meeting on 27 August at Kingspark Athletics stadium if anyone is keen to get involved and want to help.
