We cater for Special Needs riding and run Pony Camps during the holidays. Book a Fun Trail ride.

HORSEMANSHIP IS SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST RIDING

It’s easy to think that learning to ride a horse is just about getting on and riding.

🐎 WELL THINK AGAIN …. IT CERTAINLY IS NOT 🐎

True horsemanship is everything you do for your horse, not just on your horse.

🐴 It’s learning to clean and care for your bridle and saddle.
🐴 It’s washing your horse, grooming properly, and learning to bandage legs correctly.
🐴It’s understanding their health, learning to recognise AHS, colic, biliary, and knowing what to do.

🐴It’s respect, responsibility and care, every single day.

🐴That’s why we love rainy days. When we can’t ride, we learn.
🐴Yes, there is ALWAYS a lesson on a rainy day. 🌧️🐴

Blue Horizons joined Thelwells on a fun Halloween Trick & Treat fun horse ride around Drummond. The riders all dressed up in creative costumes and transformed into anything and anything … from superheroes and witches to monsters and pop-culture characters and many more fascinating characters.

They rode farm-to-farm through our stunning neighborhood collecting sweets and chocolates.

What a blast they had.
Huge thank you to Sue for arranging this fun event. The riders are all looking forward to next year’s Halloween ride.
