Vortex Fishing Kayaks Vortex has designed and built a very unique range of fishing kayaks Vortex grew from a seed of an idea inside a keen kayak fisherman's mind.

Trenton Lamble has raced kayaks competitively, across several disciplines, for the past 20 years and wanted to incorporate some of the latest flat water, surf ski and wild water craft technology into fishing kayak design. He is a self-confessed water ju**ie as an avid paddler, surfer, spear diver and fisherman. The Vortex team gathered feedback from several anglers to better understand common prob

lems facing kayak fishermen. The goal was to find solutions by seamlessly integrating the most useful elements from a variety of craft together, whilst developing brand new innovation in a game changing kayak. Modern day life can be busy and chaotic - juggling work and play with limited time. Successful kayak fishing involves a lot of preparation, planning and organising “admin”. Vortex aim is to minimise this with our all-inclusive, user friendly kayak which makes fishing simple. Trent teamed up with a world class manufacturer that has had 10 years composite building experience - including surfski’s, kayaks, paddles, rowing boats and America's Cup yachts (ABM AMRO, Ericsson and Puma Racing) to collaborate on the new Vortex range of fishing kayaks.
