Wrapping up Week 4 with Dominate wins πͺππ₯
"First Saturday Side" continue to Dominate at Home! πͺπ
The Quins 6th Side hosted Kwamashu at Quins 1 for an action-packed encounter. After Kwamashu won the toss and chose to bowl, the innings got off to a shaky start with Quins on 12/3.
Then came a masterclass partnership, the Jenkins' brothers' took control, adding a massive 177-run stand for the 4th wicket.
Clinton Jenkins was unstoppable, blasting 129 off just 64 balls, including 12 fours and 10 sixes, while Dylan Jenkins played the perfect supporting role with 40 not out as Quins posted 202/4.
In reply, Kwamashu struggled to keep up with the required rate. Dylan 2 for 15 runs and Craig Laing 2 for 25 led the attack brilliantly to secure a 64-run win.
Man of the Match: Clinton Jenkins, with a blistering 129 runs that lit up our home ground.

Quins "Mavericks" Back to Winning Ways! ππ₯
Quins 3rd Team hosted Phoenix at Quins 1 and took full advantage of home conditions after skipper Subz Dlamini wisely chose to bowl on a slightly damp wicket.
The bowlers stuck to the plan and delivered beautifully with Gareth Boyd with an impressive 2 wickets for 14 runs and Matthew Havenga with 1 for 26 runs kept things tight and never allowed Phoenix to settle. The visitors were soon under pressure and were limited to 122 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs, with the Mavericks needing 123 to win
Leading from the front, Subz Dlamini smashed 68 runs in a captainβs knock, and with a solid supportive role, Justin Kemp finished unbeaten on 33* as Quins cruised to victory by 9 wickets.

Quins 5th Team Make It Two in a Row! π₯π
The Quins 5th Team had a home game at Forest Hills to face Meadow Ridge, who won the toss and chose to bat.
Quins were sharp from the start, keeping things tight and disciplined. Skipper Hennie Swart had figures of 3 wickets 24 runs led the bowling attack, and supported by Floyd Gobey 2 wickets for 19 runs and Calvin Divies, 2 wickets for 31 runs, restricting Meadow Ridge to a manageable total.
In reply, Marc Smith anchored the chase brilliantly with an unbeaten 74 runs, while Ryan Miller added a solid 36 runs. The team chased down the target comfortably to claim a 7-wicket win.
