Everyone is welcome to participate in the Euro Steel McGregor series, with the goal of driving and increasing participation in flat water marathon racing. Initialized by 8 x World Marathon Champion, and his wife Pippa, they McGregor's are wanting to give back to the sport and paddlers into this lesser know division of the sport. g has not enjoyed the spotlight that it deserves and with World Championships happening right here in SA (Pmb) in 2017, the Euro Steel McGregor series is here to get you onto the water, fit and maybe even in the SA team for World Champs. Hank will be hosting the event as the MC and will also be there for anyone wanting to learn a bit more about the tactics and technicalities of racing a flat water

Everyone is invited (even non-registered paddlers) anyone can enter and do this as its short & easy 8km long course or 4km short course on flat water down at Blue Lagoon. Both the long course & short course will include a short portage. The results will be released immediately (include % of winner) making it super competitive which everyone loves, great prizes, great vibe, all for just 20 bucks!
