Last night at the Coastlands Musgrave Hotel in Durban, KZN Athletics hosted its 2nd Annual Awards, celebrating and recognising the outstanding athletes, coaches and clubs who have been putting in the work and flying both the KwaZulu-Natal and South African flags high. 🇿🇦💪🏾

KAZNA II

Date: 27 - 28 August 2026
Venue: Hoypark and Kings Park Athletics Stadium KAZNA II Provincial Team selection

The regions are currently participate in four sporting codes: Basketball, Netball, Football and Athletics.

The primary aim of the KAZNA II Games is to provide a competitive platform for athletes to showcase their talent and abilities, while identifying and selecting the Provincial Elite Team that will represent KwaZulu-Natal at the upcoming National Championships.

The games will therefore serve as an important talent identification and selection platform, ensuring that the province selects its strongest athletes and teams to compete at national level.

A Historic Milestone for KwaZulu-Natal Aerobics

One for the history books in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal!

Today, the first-ever KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Aerobics Federation structure was elected at the Riverside Hotel in Durban.

All 11 KZN Districts were represented, with each district sending two aerobics delegates. Officials from the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sport, Arts and Culture were also present as observers.

This historic occasion marks a significant milestone in the development and growth of aerobics in the province. As the KwaZulu-Natal Sports Confederation, we are proud to have facilitated and ensured that the election process was conducted smoothly and fairly.

The KZN Provincial Interdepartmental Work and Play Games 2026 have come to an end! 🏆🏅

Government officials from various departments came together in Durban, EThekwini Metro to compete in several sporting codes, showcasing teamwork, sportsmanship and a commitment to healthy and active lifestyles.

Overall Results:

Congratulations to AmaZulu FC for being crowned the 2026 KZN Premier’s Cup Champions after a fantastic 2–0 victory over Milford FC in the final! 🏆⚽️

A huge thank you to all the football lovers and supporters who came out in numbers to support our provincial professional football teams and made the tournament atmosphere truly special.
