It is with deep sadness that Villa Park FC has learned of the passing of Mr Hayden Haynes, one of the founding members of our beloved club.
Mr Haynes was not only a founding member of Villa Park FC, but served as the clubβs very first chairman. His vision, passion, and initiative were instrumental in bringing together a team to participate in a tournament in Mount Edgecombe in 1969 β a simple idea at the time that became the spark for the proud legacy and community institution that Villa Park FC is today.
His contribution to our club, and to the people around him, will never be forgotten. The legacy he helped create continues to live on through every player, supporter, volunteer, and family connected to Villa Park FC.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his wife, Virginia Haynes, his children, grandchildren, and the entire Haynes family during this difficult time.
May Mr Haynes rest in peace, and may his life serve as a reminder to all of us of the power of community, vision, and service. One personβs initiative, hard work, and willingness to bring people together can leave a lasting impact for generations to come. His legacy stands as proof that when we invest in our communities, we help shape a better future for all.
This weekend, a moment of silence will be observed before kick-off at every Villa Park FC match as we pay tribute to and honour the memory of Hayden Haynes.
Forever remembered.
Forever part of Villa Park FC.
