Making a decision doesn’t mean, ‘I would like to’ or ‘I wish…’
The word ‘decision’ comes from the Latin roots ‘de’, which means ‘from’ and ‘caedere’, which means ‘to cut’. “Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result, and then cutting yourself off from any other possibility.” - Tony Robbins. If you decide to quit smoking, in theory, you wouldn’t buy a pack of ci******es ever again, or join the smokers in the office for a quick smoke break. You should never even consider the possibility of smoking again…THAT is making a true decision.
Exercise the power of true decision and you will have a clear, unquestioned objective followed by results based on that objective. At this point, you should have defined clarity of where you are going and it will give you the power to produce tremendous results.
