The KZN Schools Esports Programme was an incredible success.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the two schools that participated in this groundbreaking programme —Amanzimtoti High School & Empangeni High School. Your passion, competitiveness, and professionalism helped make this event truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to all the players who took part and showcased the amazing talent growing within the esports space. We would also like to thank Amanzimtoti High School for hosting us and creating an amazing environment for this historic event.

We extend our gratitude to KwaZulu Natal Sport Confederation and the Sport Arts Culture for their support in helping us push esports forward within the educational sector across KwaZulu-Natal. Your support means everything in building opportunities for the next generation.

It is inspiring to witness the continued growth of esports in schools across the province, and this is only the beginning! The KZN Esports Federation proudly hosted an incredible tournament at the University of Zululand, bringing together talented gamers, passionate supporters, and the growing esports community under one roof.

A huge thank you to the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sport, Arts and Culture for their continued support and commitment towards youth development through esports, as well as the KZN Sports Confederation for supporting the growth and recognition of esports in our province.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the management and SRC of the University of Zululand for hosting us and helping make this event a major success.

End of Day Two – KZN E-Sports Workshop

Day Two of the KZN E-Sports Workshop concluded on an incredibly powerful and progressive note. We extend our sincere gratitude to the MEC & Deputy President, and all district representatives for their presence, support, and active participation throughout this journey.

This workshop has been a true reflection of collaboration, growth, and forward-thinking leadership. The level of engagement, the ideas shared, and the commitment shown by every stakeholder have laid a strong foundation for the future of esports in our province.

As delegates return to their respective districts, they carry with them not just outcomes—but a unified vision to develop, structure, and elevate esports across KwaZulu-Natal.
