From the Coach's Desk

Dear Players,

I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits.
As we continue our rugby journey together,

I want to remind each and every one of you not to give up hope. Challenges will come, and there will always be people who doubt what we are capable of achieving.

Some may not believe in our vision, our team, or our ability to succeed—but that should never stop us from believing in ourselves and each other.

Rugby is more than just a game. It teaches us discipline, commitment, teamwork, and resilience. Most importantly,

it brings people together. I encourage you all to continue doing what you love—playing rugby with passion, pride, and purpose.

Let us also remember that we are building more than a rugby team; we are building a stronger Despatch community. Through love, respect, unity, and hard work,

we can create something special that future generations will be proud of.

As we await our next fixture, I encourage everyone to get back to the rugby practice field with positive attitudes and a willingness to improve.

Every training session is an opportunity to grow stronger, sharper, and more connected as a team.

Keep your heads up, stay focused on the goal, and never let doubt from others determine your future.

Together, we will continue to work hard, support one another, and represent our community with honor.

Tough day at the office boys. B.D Blues took the win and full credit to them. They were clinical, we weren’t.

*31-0 hurts. But it doesn’t define us.*

Today we got punched in the mouth. Scoreboard says we lost. Character says we show up again. Every tackle we missed, every breakdown we lost, every chance we didn’t take — that’s lessons for next week. Not excuses.

Green and red means we don’t hide after a loss. We stand up, we own it, we fix it together.

*Forwards*: We’ll be harder at the collisions next time.
*Backline*: We’ll take our chances when they come.
*Reserves*: Your impact off the bench lifts the standard.
*All 23*: We win as one, we lose as one, we learn as one.

As an upcoming music artist and community member, you use both sport and your voice to make change in Despatch. But what sets you apart is how you go the extra mile: making sure your players are secure, looked after, and know someone’s got their back on and off the field.
