UNDER-13 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP CONTINUES TO GROW IN CLOCOLAN
The organisers of the Under-13 Football Championship proudly reflect on the success of the youth football tournament held in Clocolan, Free State. The event continues to promote grassroots football development and provide a platform for young players to showcase their talent.
The first edition of the Under-13 Football Championship took place from 8–10 January 2026 at Clocolan Extension 6. The tournament attracted several youth teams from different communities and academies.
Teams that participated in the championship included:
• Junior Academy FC
• Clocolan Newcastle
• Black Hunters FC
• Super Birds
• Milano Juniors
• Strike FC
• Vultures FC
After an exciting and competitive tournament, the final standings were as follows:
1st Place: Junior Academy FC
2nd Place: Clocolan Newcastle
3rd Place: Black Hunters FC
Following the success of the inaugural event, preparations are underway for the Second Annual Under-13 Football Championship, scheduled to take place from 7–10 January 2027 at Clocolan Extension 6, 9735.
The championship aims to continue building youth football development by encouraging teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among young players.
Community members, parents, schools, and football supporters are invited to continue supporting this important youth development initiative.
