Only 500m to the top chasing Owen Boonzaier , just before this I almost turned around and gave up. This is a Loooong hard climb. Rocks Rocks Rocks. Steep hills. Dug deeep.

Fantastic day in the saddle, ending off at Steve Roth outside Fouriesberg who is always so welcoming and accomodating. This is NOT a bike shop, this is one of the biggest private Dirt Bike collections in the country. My favs, The Maico 490 and the mint CR500 2T. Quick stop in his pub and back home. We covered 100kms in 4 hours yesterday, lekker fast muddy ride.

Some highlights of our ride IN the rain last Friday from The Weekend Warrior 101 . We all started out hesitantly, but finished the lap with massive grins.....was a great start to an outstanding tour by the legend of Enduro from Hillcrest William Gillitt .

Border dash then Fouriesburg and back, 4:30 saddle time. 500s and gear all loaded and making their way to JHB tomorrow, dropped off in Pretoria on Tuesday, then all 18 bikes make their way to Windhoek. We fly 20th and meet them there. 10 nights sleeping under the stars with like minded guys

Gas Gas was feeling neglected. Best way to get ready for a 10 day bike adventure in Namibia, is ride a hard Enduro trail on a tired body after 2 days of 500 cruising.
