Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) Compliance Notice
All users, by applying to join and remain part of this group, agree to the definitions of personal information and processing of information in the POPIA. Users are aware of the objectives, requirements, obligations, and guidelines of the POPIA, and the satisfaction of the 8 conditions for processing personal information listed in Chapter 3 of the POPIA. Users agree that by participating in this FaceBook (TM) Group, you acknowledge that you will or may receive personal information from or of other persons participating in the FaceBook (TM) group and consent to the processing (i.e. receipting, storing) of personal information, in terms of the POPIA.
Users further undertake to:
Secure and protect the integrity and confidentiality of the personal information by complying with Section 19 of the POPIA and taking all appropriate and reasonable measures to prevent unlawful access to the personal information. Only receive, store and use the personal information for the purpose it was provided, to then erase or delete the personal information until no longer authorized to retain it or, once the purpose for which it was disclosed has been fulfilled and not to Disseminate the personal information in any form or manner, to any other party, unless to order by a Court of Law of the Republic of South Africa.
Accept that any contravention of these obligations herein, and / or any terms of the POPIA, may result in legal action being instituted, or a complaint lodged against you with the Information Regulator. Should any such action be proceeded with, any and all legal costs will be for your own account.

The creators, admins and officials of this FaceBook (TM) group are subject to change without notice, are not, and will not be held responsible for any content on this FaceBook Group, which is deemed to be inappropriate, defamatory, insulting, incorrect or in any other way legally actionable.
