🚨 A truly special moment of pride for CTFA! 🚨
This year, we entered the Salt River Super 7’s with both our U8 and U10 teams.
Our U8s, led by Coach Thaabiet, finished joint 1st in their group, earning a place in the Cup section. The boys played some outstanding football throughout the tournament and showed incredible spirit, narrowly missing out in the Round of 16. A fantastic effort, we are super proud of each and every one of you.
Then came our U10s!! A team that truly captured the hearts of many at the tournament.
Finishing 2nd in their group, they advanced into the Cup section and faced top opposition in the knockout stages, including Wynberg St John’s, Hellenic, and Celtic Wanderers. With grit, determination, and pure passion, they battled their way to the U10 Cup Final against a strong Vasco da Gama side.
In the final, our boys gave it absolutely everything, playing with heart, but were narrowly edged out on the day.
A massive well done to Coach Shakoor and his team, you embody the true meaning of passion, hard work, and determination.
Congratulations to Vasco da Gama on being crowned champions.
Once again, well done to everyone involved… players, coaches, management and supporters.
