I went home with my team this past weekend and I received a very warm welcome. A parade was also organized for me and I'm truly humbled and grateful ❤🙏🏾

To MEC for Sports- Buffalo City Municipality Ms. Amanda Rhalasi and Councilor for Ward 20 .. I'm thankful for welcoming me🙏🏾

I also received a warm welcome from where I started as an amateur boxer at Sisonke Boxing Club.

And thank you to everyone who made this weekend a successs🙏🏾

I also hope I inspired others as well that your background doesn't define you. I came from the trenches, from the informal settlements of Ngidi Park and I've travelled the world, even as an amateur. 👏🏾

It would be amiss of me to forget about the man who made it all possible. This is my late higher primary school teacher, Mr. Mntusantu, who introduced me to the sport many years ago. He used to give me and my other peers a whip if we dared not to attend the boxing gym. This was back in 2011 when I was just 12 years of age. I'm now a world champion today because of him as well.

May his soul continue resting in peace! 🙏🏾🕊️

I would like to thank my team as a whole .. my promoter for taking a chance on me and believing me, my coach and my stablemates for pushing me beyond my limits of tolerance in the gym and to my manager!🙏🏾🙌🏾
