🏊‍♂️ CTA Qualifying Meet 1 – A Great Start to the Season! 🏊‍♀️

What an exciting first gala for our swimmers at the CTA Qualifying Meet 1 held on 13 June!

Our team delivered an outstanding performance, achieving 31 Personal Best (PB) times out of 44 swims. This is a fantastic achievement and a clear indication that the hard work and dedication in training are paying off.

We are incredibly proud of every swimmer who represented Barracuda Aquarama. Your commitment, determination, and positive attitude in and out of the pool continue to make us proud.

A big thank you to our parents, officials, and supporters for your ongoing encouragement and support. We look forward to building on this momentum as the season progresses.

🏊‍♂️ Barracuda Aquarama Shines at SSA Level 3 Age Group Champs! 🏊‍♀️

Barracuda Aquarama was proudly represented by 4 dedicated swimmers at the SSA Level 3 Age Group Championships — and what a performance it was!

📊 Team Stats:
• Total Events Swum: 46
• Personal Best Times: 42 🔥
• Finals Made: 12
• Medals: 2 Bronze 🥉🥉

Achieving 42 PBs out of 46 swims is an exceptional accomplishment and shows the hard work and commitment these swimmers bring to training every day.

Making 12 finals at this level is no small feat, and bringing home 2 bronze medals is the cherry on top!

We are incredibly proud of our swimmers for their determination, growth, and fighting spirit in the pool. The future is looking strong! 💪

Barracudas Make Waves at Swartland Prestige Gala

The Barracuda Aquarama swim team delivered a stellar performance at the Swartland Prestige Gala in Malmesbury on November 22 and 23, securing an impressive 2nd place overall. The team celebrated 127 personal bests, along with 5 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze medals, showcasing depth, determination, and outstanding teamwork.

Swimmers of all ages rose to the challenge, shining across events—from electrifying sprint races to tactically executed long-distance swims.

The team trains at the Durbanville Preparatory School swim facilities, where dedicated coaches and support staff have cultivated a strong culture of excellence, resilience, and camaraderie. The entire Barracuda Aquarama family—swimmers, coaches, and parents—are immensely proud of every athlete who took part.
