What a day at ADCC South Africa Federation ! 🇿🇦

We had 6 Urban Jiu Jitsu competitors out there today, with most stepping into competition for the very first time after only a few months of training. We're incredibly proud of everyone who put themselves out there and took on the challenge.

Competing is completely different from normal class. The nerves, pressure and intensity are things you can’t fully replicate in training, and it teaches you so much about yourself and your Jiu Jitsu.

Most of our Urban Jiu Jitsu athletes will be stepping onto the competition mats for the first time ever, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them take on the challenge.

Competition isn’t just about winning medals. It gives you a chance to test your skills under pressure, learn what works, identify what needs work, and grow faster than you can in the comfort of the gym.

Win or lose, you come back better. That’s what it’s all about 🤙🏻
