9 months pregnant to 4weeks postpartum
Postpartum body healing nicely, can’t wait for the all clear at 6 weeks to start exercising again. πŸ€—
Also gonna be finishing up my pregnancy workout videos when I have a gap - taking care of a 1 month old is amazing right now with all the cuddles and love. πŸ₯° Although he is struggling with winds which makes it a bit more difficult sometimes. Any advice out there?

is finally here. πŸ’™ He has stolen our hearts from the get go and he is perfect!
Went to the hospital on Friday the 22’nd to be put on the fetal monitor as his movements were less than normal and my mucus plug came out gradually since that Monday. They said everything was normal and we went home. At around 4pm I started having contractions, but I thought it was braxton hicks so went about my day. We went to visit family that night and the contractions became closer together. We decided to drive to hospital at around 10pm and got booked in. I was in labour. At around 4am I was only about 4cm dilated. My gynaecologist came as I asked for epidural, by then I was in a lot of pain with contractions every 2-3min and not dilating as I should. She said that there was something bothering her on the monitor and decided to rather do a c-section for my and Eli’s safety.
We had to wait for the anaesthesiologist and was in the operating room at 4:30. He took his first breath and relief washed over me. I got to hold him for the first time πŸ₯°
After that life has been a bit of a blur, I wasn’t feeling well in hospital and recovery was terrible, went home and a week later got admitted again with a bladder infection that I had since being in hospital, but the pain meds I got masked the symptoms and made me feel loopy.
Finally on the mend at home and I can focus on this little guy that’s quickly becoming not so little anymore. πŸ₯°
Loving every moment of parenthood and discovering new things with my husband, who has been amazing looking after me, Eli, our 2 dogs and taking care of housework and chores. I couldn’t have asked for a better husband and father to our son! You make life special and I love you so much. ❀️

Going for walks at sunset to help Elijah make his way into this world πŸ’™
We are so excited to meet this little guy, but he’s making us wait longer than expected πŸ˜‚
He already weighs about 3.5-3.7kg so definitely not a tiny baby πŸ™ˆ
Still exercising every day and getting as much rest as possible before his arrival πŸ‘Ά

So life has been a bit hectic - currently 36 weeks pregnant 🀰
We moved into a new house, had renovations done and set up a baby room πŸ’™
Elijah is due in 4 weeks and he is already 3kg πŸ₯°πŸ‘Ά
I’ve been trying to stay active although it’s a bit difficult with a growing tummy, but still doing my pregnancy workouts and walking πŸ˜…
I haven’t set up my gym yet for videos as it’s in a garage/office, but it’s been working great for my workouts - I’ll keep you posted
We had our baby shower and my sister took our amazing maternity shoot photos 🀩
