We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our soccer community.

Our esteemed founder, Nick Meyer, has been invited to join the prestigious CITY KINGS FOOTBALL CLUB,based just next door at the Portuguese Club.

This remarkable club competes in the ABC Motsepe League, the third highest level of professional soccer in South Africa.

Nick, who is returning to the football scene after a two-year break, will be spear heading the foundation phase coaching for the minis footballers, covering the U7 to U11 age groups.

With his extensive knowledge and passion for the game, Nick is set to make a significant impact at CITY KINGS FOOTBALL CLUB.

This partnership, combining the expertise of the club owners and the Motsepe team with Nick's talent-spotting skills for players as young as five years old, promises to propel the club to new heights.

We are incredibly proud of Nick's achievement and wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter.

I am thrilled and beyond proud to hear about your incredible success in being selected for the first team at your respective colleges, especially in your very first year! It warms my heart to know that I had the honour of coaching you both during the foundational stages of your playing careers from ages u7 to u11. Witnessing your progress and witnessing you excel in the sport you love is truly inspiring.

Stuart, your dedication, hard work, and passion for the game have always shone through, and I had no doubt that you would go on to achieve great things. Robbie, your natural talent and determination are nothing short of remarkable, and it comes as no surprise to see you thriving on the field.

Parklands Football Club was established in 2016 by founder Nick Meyer with a clear vision of prioritizing player development above all else. This commitment to nurturing talent is reflected in the club's emblem, which features a Tree of Life as its central symbol. The choice of the Tree of Life represents growth, strength, and the interconnectedness of all elements within the club.

Additionally, the emblem includes three stars, each star representing an essential entity within the club - the club itself, the parents, and the players. This symbolic representation emphasizes the unity and collaboration between these crucial stakeholders, highlighting the collective effort and support necessary to achieve success both on and off the field.
