Hyrox Cape Town August 2026 part 3! 🤫

Saving the best for last, finally to my amazing clients well done for smashing HYROX South Africa you guys were absolutely amazing. 😎

I am so proud of each and every one of you for completing hyrox, some for the first time some for the second time, however you guys absolutely smashed it. 🏆

Happy to report no injuries, no penalties and no DNF and a PB for everyone!👏

Well done team JMB Fitness amazing work! 💯

HYROX Cape Town August 2026! 🙈

Wasnt sure if I wanted to post this or not but decided to anyways. The good bad and the ugly, very disappointing to say the least but we go back to the drawing board! 🧐

My second HYROX mens single pro race ever and not up to scratch in anyway shape or form. Appreciate those who came out to support all my amazing friends, family and clients. 💯

Can make all the excuses in the world but just wasn’t up to it. I did it in 1:25:01 a PB by 54 seconds 🤣 finished 113th overall and 29th in my age group. Only been doing a HYROX for about a year now so we live and learn project 2028 is still in full swing, onwards and upwards. 👏

Thunderous Thursday!⚡️

The hardest session yet for me personally, this session truly broke me.

Ethan pushed me I wanted to give up so many times but we stuck to it and pulled it through.

2km run at 4:05/km

Into:

2 x rounds

80m sled push at 248kg
200m farmers carry 32kg/30kg dumbbells
80m Sandbag lunges 30kg/15kg dumbbells
20 wall balls with 12kg
20 wall balls with 9kg
750m run

The goal of this session was to push the runs we started off faster than what we wanted but kept pushing for the 2km. We came in hot pushing the pace hitting the stations back to back into the 750m run and repeat. While one of us did the 80m sled push the other did wall balls and row to ensure we kept working and not stopping.

It took us 43 minutes to complete the session which absolutely broke me.😭 stay tuned for some more epic workouts! 💪

The workout was absolutely brutal, but we got it done no breaks just grit! 🔥💯
