Join this beginner's introductory course to Iyengar Yoga with Judy Farah.
Iyengar Yoga focusses on building strength and flexibility in all muscle groups throughout the body and approaches yoga poses with precise alignment to reduce working injuriously.
Our bodies are all different and you'll find an observant teacher in Judy, who will notice individual differences and guide you towards a fulfilled yoga practise suitable for your body.

Welcome to a new year at Yoga Campsbay!

We wish you a year of good health, renewal and exploration of both body and mind in your yoga practise.

Classes resume next Monday 17th January with the usual schedule. For the foreseeable future we will continue with the limited 9 people per class.

Yoga props have been cleaned and sorted and we are very comfortable for everyone to make use of them, putting them back in their place after class. This means that you won’t have to have a huge bag of goodies in the class. If, however, you still prefer to use your own equipment; please feel free to continue as before. Your choice.

Fees will remain the same, at R130 per class. Upfront payment for the classes will serve as confirmation of your space in said class.

Iyengar Yoga Retreat with Judy Farah at Ixopo Buddhist Centre. 🙏

Ixopo Buddhist Centre is a magnificent venue in rural KwaZulu-Natal that offers a peaceful space for the heart and soul to open up to some quiet and focused Yoga Sadhana.

The Retreat is guided by Judy Farah, whom holds her Intermediate Senior 1 Iyengar certificate.

Yoga has been an integral part of Judy’s life since the age of 18. She has been teaching since 2000 and has travelled to Pune in India many times to study directly under her Guru BKS Iyengar, his daughter Geetaji and his son Prashantji.

Judy’s ongoing svadhyaya (self-study) has inspired her to attend many local and international seminars with senior Iyengar teachers, all directly qualified by Guru BKS Iyengar. Her studies also include a six-year medical/remedial Yoga course with Stephanie Quirk.

As much as she loves to teach and share with others, she is fully devoted to continually expand her knowledge of Yoga to ever more subtle levels of understanding.

Judy will share Asana (postures) and Pranayama (breathing), which will progress over the course of the 7 days.

All levels of practitioner are most welcome.
