We are hiring a SKIPPER; it will be a part-time position with potential for full-time employment.
• Responsibilities
o Safely operate and navigate the vessel
o Oversee crew safety
o Maintain the vessel (basic upkeep, compliance checks)
o Ensure adherence to maritime regulations
o Working on a dive boat with divers in the water
• Requirements
o Valid skipper’s license/certification (category E or C)
o Proven experience in coastal areas
o Have 2 years experience
o Strong knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response
o Physically fit and able to handle demanding conditions
o Experience in working in the surf
o Experienced in working with a tiller arm work boat/hydraulic steering wheel
o First aid certificate
• Preferred Qualities
o Local knowledge of waters and harbours
o Mechanical or technical skills for minor repairs
o Professional, reliable, and approachable personality
