Brackenfell Tennis Club The Brackenfell Tennis club is intended to enhance the mutual enjoyment of the Club for Members, their families and guests.

Members are asked to observe the spirit and intent of these Club Rules at all times and to insure that family members and guests follow the same rules as well. Brackenfell Tennis club Rules & Regulations are subject to change from time to time at the sole discretion of the Club Executive Committee. General
The club house will be open on the following days:
Tuesdays: 17:00 – 20:00 Social tennis
T

hursdays: (Only in league seasons) 17:00 – 20:00 Team practice
Saturdays: (In league season for league games) 13:00 – 18:00
Saturdays: Social tennis in league season from 15:00 – 18:00
Social tennis off league season 13:00 – 18:00
Subscriptions
Membership of the club is by annual subscription. Annual membership fees shall be due and payable at the start of each season, which runs from 1st July to 30 June. The rate of annual subscription for each class of membership shall remain in force until altered at the relevant annual general meeting. Membership ceases on non payment of subscription or by written resignation. Conduct of Members
All Members shall behave in a considerate manner towards other Members and Club staff. Any misconduct of a Member shall be deemed to be a serious breach of the Club Rules and may be cause for termination of Membership. Visitors
Visitors fee are R40

Suggestions and Comments
Members may put forward suggestions and comments in writing and hand it in at the Kiosk

Security & Safety
No members, member's children or guests should at any time take any actions that endanger the safety and/on health of other members. Gates to be locked at all times when social players use courts on non-practice days. Children
The safety, welfare and behavior of children in the Club are entirely (and at all times) the responsibility of their parents or designated adult Member. The activities of children under 8 years of age must always be supervised at the Club by a parent or designated adult Member. Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the Clubhouse. The use of any kind of drugs is strictly prohibited within Club premises. Alcohol
Alcohol consumption and buying of alcohol are only permitted to persons aged 18 and above. Club Property
Members are required to respect Club property and the Club's environment including Club towels, and locker room supplies may not be removed from the Club premises. Members are responsible for paying for any damage caused by family members or guests to any Club property. Restricted Areas
No person other than designated staff is permitted in kitchens and other 'Staff Only' rooms or areas of the Club. Control of Members
Any member who has infringed any of the Rules or whose conduct, in the opinion of the general committee is unacceptable, may be handed a written notice, personally to the member or sent to the member's last known address to appear in front of the committee. Any appeal by that member must be in writing and must be received by the club secretary within seven days of the giving of such notice, and shall be dealt with by the general committee at a special committee meeting. The member will be entitled to address the special committee meeting. If the finding is against the member, he or she will cease to be a member or be suspended for a period decided by the committee. The finding of the special committee meeting will be final. Liability of the Club
Neither the Manager nor any Member of any Committee or staff shall be liable in any manner whatsoever for (any Member or to any other person) any personal injury, damage, loss or theft of property occurring in or about the premises. All Members, for themselves and on behalf of their families and guests, shall be deemed to have waived any and all claims, past, present and future, against Brackenfell Tennis club for any such damage, loss or theft by acceptance of the Membership granted to them by Brackenfell Tennis Club.
