Taking on one of the world's toughest ultramarathons demands extraordinary commitment, discipline, resilience, and courage. By stepping onto that start line and embracing the challenge, you carried the name and colours of our club with pride and honour.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Whether you achieved a personal best, fought bravely to reach the finish line, or simply had the courage to pursue this dream, your journey has inspired us all.

A special congratulations to our Top 10 Men and Top 10 Women who led the way and proudly represented RCS Gugulethu AC on the roads between Durban ans Pietermaritzburg. 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️🔥

Behind every finishing time is an early morning, a long run, a sacrifice, a setback overcome, and a community that believed. Today we celebrate not only the results, but the courage it took to stand on that start line and the resilience it took to reach the finish.

RCS Gugulethu Athletics Club proudly sends 25 incredible women to the start line of the Comrades Marathon, including 7 brave novices taking on The Ultimate Human Race for the very first time.

These women are mothers, daughters, sisters, leaders, professionals, caregivers, and dreamers. For months they have balanced life's responsibilities while showing up for themselves, one run at a time.

To our Gugs Girls; we see you, we celebrate you, and we are proud of you. May you run boldly, trust your training, and remember that you belong on that start line.
