The selection process: These deserving ladies were selected using the same voting formula that we've applied in the competition since online voting was introduced 4 years ago.
The final score combines the popular public vote with those from judging representatives from USN and fitness magazine. Each category has an equal weighting to determine the final outcome:
33% online voting
33% USN
33% fitness magazine
Online voting remains an integral component of the selection process. It not only offers an indication of how much support and influence a contestant has in the industry, but it also demonstrates her ability to leverage her social media and online presence to canvass for votes.
However, deciding who will get the opportunity to change the trajectory of their fitness modelling career and become a brand ambassador must be based on more than just a popularity vote, which is why USN and fitness magazine also have equal input into the final outcome.
