Week 3 of the CTBA Women’s Only Training Clinic took place yesterday, 23rd August, at John Tyres Hall in Cape Town. 🏸

For the final week, the women put their new skills into practice with some fun and competitive doubles games. There were many close matches and great moments on court.💫

Well done to everyone who took part, whether you joined us for one week or all three. It was wonderful celebrating women in badminton and sharing this experience together. 💕

Week 2 of the CTBA Women’s Only Training Clinic took place on 16 August at John Tyres Hall, Cape Town.💪🏼

This week focused on doubles and mixed doubles fundamentals, including short serves, attacking returns, shot selection, finding gaps, positioning, and communication. The session ended with fun doubles and mixed doubles games.

It was another successful and enjoyable session filled with high energy, learning, and new skills.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Week 2 a success! 🏸
We look forward to seeing everyone again next Sunday for our final week.

🌸 CTBA Women’s Month Initiative Week 1 Recap 🌸🏸

Week 1 of the Women’s Only Training Clinic was a great success at John Tyres Hall! 💕
Participants focused on the fundamentals of singles, starting with warm-ups, footwork, court positioning, and racket preparation.
Coaches Lydia and Debbi guided players through serving techniques, half-court singles, and competitive full-court games to put their new skills into practice.
The session ended with stretching and plenty of smiles after a fun, energetic day of learning and improving. 💪🏸

A big thank you to everyone who joined and helped make Week 1 special!

🌸 We look forward to seeing everyone on court again soon.

Entry requirements SA registered players:

1. BSA registered players
2. Open to any player in SA, as long as they are registered (ref: Point 1)
3. Eligible to play in the relevant age group, based on 01 January DOB.
4. Allowed to enter 3 events only.
5. Players from an older age group allowed to play in younger age groups incl mixed ages combinations i.e. 60-year-old player and 55-year-old player. Only allowed to play in the age group of the youngest player i.e. 55-year-old group.
